Good afternoon MiraBay residents,
We hope everyone is making it home safely if you happened to evacuate and if you were in the group of residents that stayed, we can all agree that Irma was a close call for Apollo Beach. Our team is working diligently to open up the amenities and maintain the facilities to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible. For those of you that are reading this from afar, we have a few trees down and a lot to clean up but for the most part, we couldn’t have hoped for a better scenario. During the tour around the community, it was nice to see neighbors helping neighbors and everyone working together out there.
To provide a current update for the amenities and facilities in MiraBay, they are listed as follows:
Resort Pool Closed – A palm tree broke some glass that went into the pool. We are working closely with our pool vendor to get it cleaned out but unfortunately it’s going to take some time. We hope to be able to re-open by the end of the week. Until then, the Admiral Pointe pool will be fully operational tomorrow.
Fitness Center Open.
Galley Café Closed – We will fully re-open as normal tomorrow!
Admirals Lounge/Lagoon Room Limited – “As of September 4, the construction phase of the Clubhouse Renovation is generally finished. The next phase is the Interior Design portion involving the ordering, shipping and installation of the furniture and decorative accents that will be the final work of the project.Again, we appreciate your understanding and will make every effort to complete this project as soon as possible.”
Admiral Pointe Clubhouse & Pool Closed – Reopen tomorrow 9/13
Tennis Courts Closed – Due to the weather, the courts need time to dry and maintenance. There will be limited access to the courts beginning Thursday.
Basketball Courts Open.
Guardhouse Gates – Due to the heavy volume of IT challenges throughout the state, Envera is working diligently to be back online at MiraBay. They will hopefully be up in the next day or so.
Boat Lift Open – There is a large tree down at the boat lift that blocks access to the walkway so you’ll have to walk around. We also lost a ramp that attached to the floating dock at the boat lift. The ramp is underneath the dock and we are currently working on a solution for this. The boat lift itself is completely functional.
Boat ramp Open – We will be closing it on Thursday to allow boaters to get home to their docks.
Wolf Creek and Landings Parks Open.
Landscaping – Please be patient with clean-up efforts around the community. It was a hurricane and as stated above, we are aware of fallen trees and are working to get the landscaping team back on site. We will have everything cleaned up as quickly as possible.
Activities – Please call the receptionist at 813.649.1500 x21 for an update on fitness classes and other daily programs. Please note that we will not have Afterschool as we follow the Hillsborough County school schedule.
Please do not hesitate to call the clubhouse with questions at 813-649-1500.
