Tennis Court Closure

The Tennis Court refurbishment project will start on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 and will likely take 60 to 90 days to complete.  During this time all Tennis Courts will be CLOSED.  Please avoid entering the Tennis Court area including the parking lot during this time. Upon completion of phase one, which is the two north courts, it is our plan to resume the tennis program with the guidance of a MiraBay Tennis Pro only. School Bus Stop Temporary Change

Dear MiraBay Residents,  The tennis court refurbishment project is anticipated to start on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 and will likely take 60 to 90 days to complete.  While the construction is ongoing the County will only be utilizing the school bus stop at Manns Harbor Dr. & MiraBay Blvd (Pool Club House), which is the second of the two existing bus stops.  The other bus stop, located at Mirabay Blvd & Manns Harbor Dr (Tennis Court), will be closed.  Students and parents should be receiving notice from the County shortly.  **There is no bus stop …

January 2016 Community Update

The Harbor Bay Community Development District’s (“CDD”) Board of Supervisors held its regular meeting on Thursday, January 28, at 6:00 p.m. There were several noteworthy items as follows: Master Project – Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc., which serves as the “Project Engineer” for the District’s Master Project, gave a presentation regarding the need to make certain additional emergency repairs, while the Board authorizes a larger procurement process for the Master Project.  Based on that presentation, the Board has authorized a special meeting regarding the emergency repairs to be held Wednesday, February 17th at 6 …

The Harbor Bay Community Development District’s (“CDD”) Board of Supervisors held its regular meeting on Thursday, October 22, at 6:00 p.m. There were several noteworthy items as follows: Seawall – The emergency project is continuing to progress with work on Islebay Drive. The Board specifically discussed and approved authorizing individual homeowners to enter into license agreements with the CDD in order to allow for the installation and maintenance of utility connections at residential docks. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Presentation

Deputy Chris McMurty, from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, gave a presentation to the Board and community regarding safety tips for Mirabay residents. In particular, he recommended that residents be proactive in regards to safety and security because, while a gated community may help deter criminals, it is not a guarantee that crime won’t occur. Among other tips, Deputy McMurty recommended that residents close their garage doors, lock and secure their cars, and lock all doors and windows at their homes. CDD Update September 2015

Pool – Management will obtain proposals to replace the pool slide with different layout options as well as contact a consultant regarding the re-surfacing of the pool. Envera – Installation of 4 license plate cameras at both gate exit lanes was approved to deter exiting gate strikes. Management will contact Deputy McMurty in regards to testing all 3 EMS entries at both gates. Clubhouse – Management will work on proposals for remodeling the Café to meet increasing demand.
